Old Turkic Unicode Block

The Old Turkic Unicode block (U+10C00–U+10C4F) encompasses characters used to write Old Turkic languages, including Orkhon Turkic, Uighur, and Old Kirghiz. These languages were used primarily in Central Asia and the surrounding regions from the 8th to 10th centuries. The Old Turkic block includes characters for vowels, consonants, and punctuation marks, as well as a few ligatures. While the exact orthography varied slightly between different Old Turkic languages, the overall structure of the writing system remained consistent.
