The Sharada Supplement is a new Unicode block that was added to the standard to provide additional characters for the Sharada script. The Sharada script is a historical Brahmic writing system used primarily for Kashmiri and Sanskrit. The new supplement block, with a range of U+11B60 to U+11B7F, contains characters that were not included in the original Sharada block (U+11180–U+111DF). The addition of these characters helps to more fully and accurately represent the historical usage of the script.
