Multani is a Unicode block that contains characters used for writing the Multani alphabet, a Brahmic script historically used in the Multan region of Punjab and northern Sindh in Pakistan. The Multani script is now obsolete, but it was once used to write the Saraiki language. The Unicode block includes characters for vowels, consonants, and other diacritics necessary to represent Multani words. It was added to Unicode in version 8.0 in 2015.
