The Beria Erfe Unicode block is a newly added block that contains the letters for the Zaghawa alphabet, also known as Beria. This script was created to write the Zaghawa language, which is spoken in parts of Sudan, Chad, and Libya. The script itself is based on traditional camel and livestock branding marks, giving it a distinct and unique visual appearance. The Beria Erfe block was added in Unicode 17.0.
